Actually, Hero MotoCorp is preparing to launch a record number of new models with 200cc engine in the current financial year. The company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Niranjan Gupta said that Hero MotoCorp is looking to strengthen its market share, especially in the premium segment.
The country's largest two-wheeler company will introduce several new bikes during the current financial year. The company is planning a significant product expansion by introducing almost 11 new motorcycles and scooters in the current fiscal year. This includes the highly anticipated revival of the Karizma brand, as well as the launch of their first co-developed motorcycle with iconic American bike manufacturer, Harley-Davidson.
Hero is soon going to re-introduce 200cc bike its most iconic sports bike in India. 2023 Hero Karizma sports bike is under development at Hero MotoCorp. It is expected to launch by the end of this year. Additionally, it will get a new 200cc bike engine and a completely new chassis. As per the reporting source, the new Karizma will get radical changes. It will be based on a new platform as well. Also, Hero will equip it with a new 200cc bike will be liquid-cooled engine. This engine is destined to make a peak power of 25 bhp & a peak torque of 30 Nm. Additionally, a 6-speed gearbox with a suspected slipper-assist clutch shall also be fitted on it. Meanwhile, its design will be essentially different from the previous-gen Karizma. Hero has learned that due to its unconventional design, the previous-gen Karizma failed. Hence, a more dedicated and futuristic design shall find its way on the new bike.
The hardware package of Upcoming 200cc Bike from Hero MotoCorp the test mule comprised 17-inch alloy wheels, telescopic forks up front, a mono-shock at the rear, along with a single disc at both ends. As for the engine, powering the motorcycle will be a 200cc bike, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 25bhp and 30Nm of peak torque. This motor will send power to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox. Furthermore, as can be deciphered from the spy shots, the bike features a split seat and clip-on handlebar but offers a fairly upright riding position. The Hero Karizma XMR 210 is also expected to come equipped with impressive features like a slipper clutch, a color TFT instrument cluster, and Bluetooth connectivity. The price of the motorcycle is expected to be on the affordable side of the spectrum; with a price tag of Rs. 1.7 lahks (ex-showroom) will make it truly desirable.
